In the third video of an eight part series on teens and safety in City Heights, Crawford High School students tell us what they think are the negative and positive aspects of City Heights.
Mirroring what they said in the previous video, in which the teens discuss why they feel uncomfortable walking at night, many consider Mid-City police to be a negative side of City Heights. Several students say police treat them differently because of the color of their skin, making assumptions about their intentions or being slow to respond.
