The Mingei International Museum celebrates the final Creative City Heights event in collaboration with PANA, Media Arts Center, KAREN Organization of San Diego and The AjA Project, at the City Heights Library Performance Annex.
Working together, these organizations have developed creative and cross-cultural activities for the City Heights neighborhood connecting the Museum’s philosophy with the rich traditions of City Heights’ diverse residents.
This event featured the photography of Famo Musa from the AjA Project, a film by Brian Myers from the Media Arts Center San Diego, Dancers from Karen, Drummers from Ghana, the San Diego Puppet Guild, local spoken word artists and food from Lotus Garden One.
